Mubea Hydrogen Technology - H2T

With our extensive forming technologies, Mubea supports manufacturers of electrolysers and fuel cells with development know-how and global manufacturing capabilities. In doing so, we use our many years of experience from the automotive world to scale up the production of disc springs, bipolar plates and electrodes in the growing market of hydrogen production and usage.

Our Mission :

To decarbonize large industrial sectors, with the production of clean green hydrogen. Hydrogen is currently needed in large quantities as a raw material, fuel or energy storage system.

However, only a small proportion is currently produced by water electrolysis without CO2 emissions. To achieve our climate targets, a massive expansion of electrolysis infrastructure is necessary.

  • For Alkaline (AEL) and Alkaline Membrane Electrolysis (AEM): 
    Embossed bipolar plates made of nickel or steel with nickel coating.

 

  • For High-temperature Electrolysis and Fuel cells (SOEC, SOEL, SOFC): 
    Stainless steel bipolar plates with fine channel structures.

 

  • For Proton Exchange Membrane electrolysis (PEM):
    Flat or structured titanium bipolar plates.
